This Japanese bullet train is called the 0 series trains which were the first-generation Shinkansen (bullet trains) built to run on Japan's Tokaido Shinkansen high-speed line which opened in 1964. The last remaining trains from this generation were withdrawn in 2008 after 44 years of service. Wouldn't it be great if Seattle had a bullet train?!
